Extravagant 3D Florals

While the floral trend is not new in the bridal industry, the interpretation evolves each season and 2024 sees an enchanting ode to nature with meticulously crafted floral embellishments and gowns adorned with 3D floral accents. Giving everything from a hint of texture to a statement feature, we love this one for its romance and playful possibilities. Could this be the biggest wedding dress trend of the year?

Bows

We're suckers for cute bows around here, so we were thrilled to see bows feature across the catwalks for another season. From luxe crystal and pearl bow embellishments to dainty ribbons and grandiose fabric bows, bridal bows are set to be huge for 2024 and 2025 brides.

The Mini Dress

Definitely more of a maxi trend, mini dresses made a bold and unforgettable statement on the bridal runways for Spring and Autumn 2024. Short, fitted, strapless, fringed and puffball, so many designers embraced the spirit of modernity and playfulness by introducing shorter hemlines in fresh and bold designs. With brides looking for multiple wedding looks, and the wedding wardrobe even more important than ever, the mini dress is more popular (and shorter!) than ever. As you can see from the designer lineup below, there are lots of designers offering shorter silhouettes for brides who want something a little less little.

Pearls

Pearls have been incredibly popular for the last few seasons, but we are loving the fresh approach designers are taking for spring and fall 2024. This season, gowns & add-ons are adorned with exquisite pearl embellishments, creating a lustrous, glamourous & feminine aura.

Silver Sparkle

When it comes to bridal fashion, we all know sparkle never goes out of style, but this season the runways were were alight with shimmer as we saw new takes on traditional sequins and beading, with lots of silver sparkle on show, from mirror-effect embellishments, silver thread embroidery, to full silver-y glittered textiles. We think this trend will resonate with winter brides in particular!

Beautiful Bodices & Re-Imagined Corsets

Corseted wedding dresses are nothing new, in fact, it's been trending more and more each past season, but exposed corsetry, where you can see the boning and stitching in the bodice of your gown was everywhere on the 2024 bridal runways. This included corsets with see-through lace inserts and re-imagined statement bodices in lieu of traditional, streamlined designs.

Feathers

Feathers are a bridal trend that generally makes a return every few years, but the 2024 bridal runways hosted feathers galore!.  Whether used sparingly as accents or covering entire skirts, bodices and sleeves, designers embraced the idea of lavish texture and playfulness, adorning their gowns with feather details that added that extra slice of opulence.

Pretty in Pink

No doubt inspired by the blockbuster Barbie movie, pink wedding dresses were all over the bridal runways for 2024, From blush pink and dusty mauve, to fierce fuchsia and bold hot magenta, pink-loving 2024 and 2025 brides will be spoiled for choice with the tickled pink options across the latest collections.
