Summer Pieces to Transition to Fall

Summer Pieces to Transition to Fall

Stripe Sweater

A traditional piece of clothing that works well for any season change is a striped sweater. My favorite sweater has always been the J. Crew Emilie, and the new relaxed fit is ideal! When fall arrives, pair it with jeans or pants or wear it draped over your shoulders with a midi dress.

Curve Shoulder Bag

The Madewell shoulder bag is the fall purse of my dreams, and the crescent bag trend is all over the Internet right now. I've been wearing skirts, sportswear, shorts, and baggy button-down shirts with it. You'll thank me later if you make sure to include this in your summer and fall routine!

White Cropped T-Shirt

The off-season is a great opportunity to restock on your staples, like t-shirts. When fall arrives, you may wear this loose, cropped t-shirt with high-waisted shorts now and layer it under an oversized blazer.

Cashmere Patch-Pocket Cardigan

A loose-fitting cardigan is something I'll always wear, and this one is sure to be popular in autumn. The softest cashmere comes from J. Crew, and this cardigan is no different! In addition, I adore the patch pocket detailing. Wear now and later with shorts, midi dresses, jeans, and pants.

Scoopneck Vest

Now is the perfect moment to try the vest trend if you haven't already! This trend will continue into fall, and this fitted scoop neck vest is quite stylish. For fall, I have a soft spot for black, but it also comes in a gorgeous ivory if you're seeking for lighter colors.

Chunky Dome Cuff Bracelet

Although most jewelry isn't particularly seasonal, as the weather cools, I like to wear some chunkier items to go with heavier clothing. I adore this oversized cuff bracelet precisely because of that! For a playful contrast, try pairing it with a feminine dress. Then, when fall arrives, pair it with all of your favorite warm layers.

Oversized Cotton Sweater

This comfy neutral pullover sweater is a must-have for fall! It's a terrific end-of-summer option for those cooler evenings and mornings because of its somewhat roomy fit. For a particularly warm ensemble in the fall and winter, wear it layered over a turtleneck.

Twill Shirt Jacket

One of my favorite vacation spots is Nantucket, so I squealed a little when I learned that the Nantucket Reds and Tuckernuck were collaborating. When summer ends and fall arrives, this red twill shirt jacket from Nantucket is the ideal accessory. Obviously, the color is wonderful and makes you think of summer, but it's thick enough to keep you comfortable when the temperature drops.

Patch Pocket Wide Leg Jeans

These patch pocket jeans from Madewell are ideal for transitioning into fall, and their denim collections have been amazing lately. Choosing your actual size is advised, however if you're in between sizes, go down! The stretch in these jeans is substantial.

Cable Knit Sweater

I am ecstatic that cardigan season has officially here. This cable knit sweater is so classic that it will be a staple in your wardrobe for many years to come. The material is one of my favorite details! It's an incredibly soft cotton-blend bouclé that adds a contemporary twist to this timeless sweater shape.

Cropped Button-Up Denim Shirt

Denim shirts are one of my favorite things to wear, and this cropped version is a fantastic take on a timeless fall trend! Come fall, I'll wear this more casually with a denim jacket.

Popover Shirt

There's nothing I love to wear more than a popover. They are an easy way to enhance an ensemble without any consideration required. I'm so obsessed with this Tuckernuck product! Wear it with denim shorts for a carefree weekend appearance, or wide-leg jeans for the office.
